I told everybody I wasn't going to blog about my February 2015 Cooking Sabbatical, but here it is anyway. I at least have to vent about everything that went wrong (that I couldn't tell the guests), and crow a bit about the stuff that went right. The events and menus are here (as well as the reservation system, if you're an invited guest). I'll share some recipes, too.

And yes, I did watch "Julie and Julia" - I'm not going there.

First picture--at first I was really impressed when it looked like your were slicing snail shells, then just impressed when I figured out you were slicing shallots, which are cool, too.

Dave, Kristine and Anna - and my fellow guests,
I was smiling all the way home.  There were so many things to love about the evening - the food of course, the generosity of heart from our hosts and also guests, the humor, the great singing voices, the great conversations and connections, the knowledge that all of us were somehow connected by these wonderful hosts, etc, etc, etc.  Thank you for a memorable evening!
